Ruby Jaye
Ruby Jaye
Recently featured on Capital Public Radio (NPR), Ruby Jaye, whose music has been compared to that of Norah Jones and Regina Spektor, is a former child performer who won accolades from former California Governor Gray Davis (2000). She's evolved into an engaging artist, with a distinct and accessible vocal style. The most recent album, released Dec. 2016, favors a song-based approach that features stark arrangements that place the voice in front of the arrangement.

“When you hear Ruby Jaye’s music you can’t help but be captivated and transported to a different place. She is a beacon of positivity in the music world!”
- Melissa Cabral, Anchor, Good Day KMAX TV

“Ruby’s sound is fresh, unique, and instantly classic. Her original songs stick in your brain from the very first listen.”
- Mike Sion, Music Columnist, Reno Gazette Journal

“Ruby Jaye’s singing voice carries a childlike tint in a style that otherwise takes cues
from the decidedly not-childlike genres of jazz and Americana.”
- Janelle Bitker, Sacramento News & Review

“Her songs express a musical sensibility far beyond her years.”
- Robbie Gennet, Keyboard Magazine
